Picked a dress and off for some... DESSERT!
Shugatori locate in Damansara Uptown, next to TMnet, same row as Wondermilk/Fat Spoon & etc.
It's a dessert shop which highly inspired/influence with the Japanese Patisserie (fusion) on their cakes but they are famous and also serving Toast, Pancakes & Waffles.
I was actually dressing up for a wedding dinner that night & i had a short tea session with my favorite girl friend.
I did not went there to order their signature Toast, Pancakes or Waffles.
I was there because i was attracted with their Sweet Potato Cheesecake <3!
Their interior was in white & some corners are painted in green to suit the nursery plants in the unit. Trying to bring in some casualty of nature into the space and lighting was cozy bright as it is seen in the pictures.
Besides than the Sweet Potato Cheesecake, i ordered their Matcha Cheese Tart & Rose Latte.
They serve their dessert like a fine dine.
Sweet Potato Cheesecake tasted perfect for me as they had both the combination of flavor well balanced. Nothing too sweet, nor too powdery or too heavy in cheese.
Their Matcha Cheese Tart actually comes with an edible gold flakes.
The taste is heavier on the green tea and the topping cream was light & fluffy.
I would say their dessert do have some quality control
And the staff was very friendly too.
Though it could be very crowding in the space in certain peak hours but i felt it was quite worthy for the wait.
