[Non Halal] Mambau Khek Yong Tau Fu @ Seremban

When your mom tends to have the best cooking in the world, you tend to be very very picky when you dine out.

I have got this issue. Because my mom always pampered my taste bud with her best Yong Tau Fu.
So when it comes to Yong Tau Fu, i am seriously very very particular.

I was in Seremban for some occasion and was deep hungry for a proper breakfast.
A local friend brought me to Mambau Khek Yong Tau Fu 万茂客家酿豆腐 (non-halal) at 10am and the kitchen was still in the midst of preparing.

We were the 1st Customer of the day, so we decided to order the pieces and wait for less than half an hour for the kitchen to be fully ready to serve us their best first tasting of the day.

Soup Bowl; A few pieces of bitter gout, tofu, chili, fish ball, pork ball & ladies finger
Fried Plate: brinjal, fried dumplings & fu zuk.
Red Bowl: Hakka Mee

But first, let me show you how the area looks like.
Authentic stall! and the location was unexpectedly next to the highway!

So that is me in the middle POSER SIAL. haha.

You can see that the interior are all very authentic wise, as in old school window and zinc roof and concrete flooring. They installed some plaster board to keep the heat from the zinc out. Easy Cleaning.

So Mr Red shirt is the guy who takes the order from you, so whoever standing there you can just straight order or you can pick your yong tau fu ingredients in the glass box!
But due to i was the 1st customer thus they did not display much stuff.
i was very very hungry and my brain nearly cannot function. hahaha!
And int he picture you can see their kitchen is all expose, to show you their guarantee of food quality! NO WORRIES!

So this is their menu board, cheap cheap nice nice!

Soup Bowl; A few pieces of bitter gout, tofu, chili, fish ball, pork ball & ladies finger
Fried Plate: brinjal, fried dumplings & fu zuk.
Red Bowl: Hakka Mee

So as a pickie Yong Tau Fu Taster, some people would say that this stall is actually overrated.
Why not let me enlighten you, I fairly enjoyed this meal!
The Yong Tau Fu does not have the heavy taste of their inner fillers. Some shop would use Salty Fish and mix with some other meat and paste ingredient.

But why a local would actually brought us here and it is famous among most of them is because of the sweet lightness in taste, less salt, less sugar, no ajinomoto. everything is FRESHLY made.

So if you are expecting a very heavy in taste of Yong Tau Fu and their gravy sauce, I do not think this will enlighten you.

So this is their HAKKA mee.
Besides than it beings looks like a big dark sauce, it's actually like Lor Mee texture but the taste is very light in soysauce. The best part is that they have got some little pieces of meat which they tasted very awesome! It's not fatty at all.
